Introducing Range Industries Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) kit for the 99-04 Ford F250 / F350 rear axle (Sterling 10.5) and 99-07 Ford E250 / E350 full float rear axle (Dana 60). This product allows you to replace your old drum-in-hat brake system with modern calipers that integrate an electronic parking brake and use a 14” vented rotor. This kit is a game-changer for anyone swapping 1 ton axles and needing a powerful parking brake. Stop your rig on any hill on the trail and know the parking brake will hold.

The kit comes with the caliper adapters and rotors, as well as the connectors, control switch, and breaker required to operate the parking brakes. You will need to supply your own calipers from a late model GM vehicle:

·         Chevrolet Silverado (Sierra) 2019-2025

·         Chevrolet Suburban (Yukon XL) 2021-2025

·         Chevrolet Tahoe (Yukon) 2021-2025

·         Chevrolet Silverado EV (GMC EV, Hummer EV) 2024-2025

 

You may reuse your existing brake hoses with some modification or get matching hoses with your new calipers.

 

This will fit most 17”+ wheels depending on wheel design and backspacing.

 

The advantage of the electric parking brake is obvious if you have ever adapted a mechanical one before- It is much easier to route electrical wires than adapt heavy pull cables, and make sure leverage ratios work together. And the holding power of the electric calipers is superb, extremely reliable, and easy to operate. There is a reason most modern vehicles now use them.

 

Note: With the Sterling 10.5 axle you can mount the caliper forward or rearward on the axle. Just press the studs in accordingly. Dana 60 application the bracket is ONLY intended to be installed with the calipers being forward of the axle (shown in the install instructions)

 

Note: Included rotors are modified GM replacements. The center hole has been bored out to match the axle, and the lug pattern modified to fit both 8 x 6.5” and 8 x 170mm.
