Good kit

After upgrading the wheels on my 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison, I ran into a spare tire fitment issue, and the Range Industries Aftermarket Wheel Adapter (106.1mm to 108mm bore) ended up being the perfect solution.

I installed Arena Hustle 17x9 aftermarket wheels, which completely changed the look of the truck. Even though I previously had a high-quality set of AEV wheels, these aftermarket wheels truly set the truck apart with their wider stance and aggressive design. The upgrade was well worth it, but it did introduce one challenge the AEV spare tire mount would not accommodate the wider aftermarket wheel due to the bore mismatch.

This adapter solved that issue cleanly and professionally. The machining quality is excellent, the tolerances are precise, and installation was straightforward. Once installed, the spare mounted securely on the hoist with no movement or alignment issues.

As an extra precaution, I cut an old rubber mat and placed it between the wheel and the adapter to prevent any metal-to-metal contact and potential scratching. That was a simple personal touch and not a reflection of any deficiency in the product it just added peace of mind for long-term use.

If you’re running wider aftermarket wheels on a Colorado and want to retain full spare tire functionality, especially on a vehicle like the ZR2 Bison where durability matters, this adapter is an OEM-quality solution. This is an extremely well designed bed rack kit. Assembly was a pleasure and the completed rack looks just as you’d expect for a RIVIAN accessory. Little details, like the spring loaded clips and the foam spacer for the attaching cam bar, are well thought of and handy, time saving additions. Every hardware component and fastener FIT PERFECTLY!

Perfectly designed !! Such exact tolerances, no part of the assembly/installation was left to the imagination. Minor details , like the spring loaded clips and the foam positioner for the locking bracket , were so well thought out. The LOOKS of the final product are comparable to the pleasurable assembly experience.
