This kit is designed to allow the S-550 / S-650 suspension to bolt to a 1980-1996 F-150. It also integrates mounts for a 12” coil-over. This setup allows for an unmodified bed and much lower than stock ride height (approximately 4" lower), as well as modern brakes, suspension, and a limited-slip differential. The kit uses the leaf spring bracket holes to locate the assembly (be careful not to mangle the holes when you are removing the factory rivets!) and bolts to the side and bottom of the frame rails. A small notch in the bottom flange of the frame rail is required to clear the upper arms. Trimming of the S-550 / S-650 Rear Subframe is also required to adapt the bolt-on mounting brackets (no welding required). You will need to drill some holes for installation, but the brackets act as templates to keep the installation simple and straightforward.

Kit contains all mounting brackets and hardware required to mount the 2015-2023 Mustang S-550 and 2024+ S-650 rear subframe to your 1980-1996 F-150 frame. Coil-overs not included in kit.

Fitment Notes:

  • 17" wheel minimum required for brake clearance. Modern offset wheels, such as Mustang, are suggested
  • Minor Trimming of the S560 / S650 Rear Subframe is required to adapt the mounting brackets.
  • Kit contains all mounting brackets and hardware required to mount the 2015-2023 Mustang S-550 and 2024+ S-650 rear subframe to your F-150 frame. Coil-overs not included in kit. 
  • Ride height is designed to match a crown vic front (Approx 4" drop with 12 in eye to eye coilover).
  • Wheel Mounting Surface for S550 subframe width 67.5" (rotor face to rotor face)
  • GT350 / GT500 Subframes utilize a different shock mount requiring a different bar pin adapter. Contact us via email on our contact us page for this product.
